Seems above average so I would say it's worth it.

fyi it's not legal in CA, that's why I didn't do it... But if you know someone in the smog station and will let you pass then I think this is so worth it! Go for it!

any motor swap in CA is illegal. you'll just be paying extra for smog tests.

That engine bay is REAL clean, not mickey moused. Looks factory.

Um...it's a little high..but its 1jz swapped so its not THAT high...I would go in there with some room to wiggle him down...maybe start at 6900 or something and hope to get him to around 7500-7800. That's just me being cheap though..overall the car looks really nice.

I agree - the swap looks factory and not just a quick hack job. It's one hell of a cruiser, that's for sure.

Having an auto isn't bad at all. My brother's Supra had a SP57 and built auto and it was fun to run the bigger singled stick shift cars. By the time they got into boost good the ol' auto was well down the road.

Years ago we were at the track and some kid with an auto Prelude swapped places with his friend in the staging lanes because my car (Stealth TT) was a stick but the Supra was "only" an automatic. Bwa ha ha!

Says "Car Passes Smog" throws up a red flag for me as a resident of CA. Take it to a smog shop of YOUR CHOICE and pony up the $50 bucks BEFORE YOU BUY to see if it will pass everything EVEN IF the owner has a valid smog. This will tell you if it will pass in the bi-annual, AND if you will be able to sell it to someone else someday. CA sucks with smog, take extra caution with this and cover your 6.

i think 8500 is too high especially being that it is a 92. if it was atleast a 97 I'd say go for it but otherwise its not worth paying more than 6200 IMO

What SCBounce said.

I'd pay $6500 max for that car. Look mines an 1992 SC300 as well, I paid $1000. cash.
