^^^Does your question mean that the SC spare would not fit???

BTW, does anybody know if I should go with R1 Rotors Eline slotted or Premium slotted? Mainly, I don't wanna keep on dealing with cleaning the rust off of my rotors. I hate the look of rust so I don't want it rusting. There are some people saying that the $120 rotors(Eline) are zinc plated so they don't rust, but there's nothing on their website saying they're zinc plated. The Premium slotted on the other hand are E-Coated(whatever that means) to prevent rust but pricey at $230! Any ideas or inputs? If the Eline don't rust at all, then I'd rather save a $100 on that!

Bumpity bump!

Also, does anybody know if the rear OEM brake calipers can be polished? Not sure if it's aluminum or cast... I just sent my LS brake calipers to be polished after months of wait for this project to be next on the list! And cannot decide wether to paint them or polish! Polish is really the way to go... Takes longer time before it gets dirty unlike paint... Now I just need to find out if I can polish the rears to match or just paint them grey...

Sadly no, I tried the SC spare and it definitely would not clear the front BBK's.

P.S No longer in the hunt for a spare that'll fit, I found myself a T.T Spare woot!

Have you seen the Cquence rotors?

http://www.cquence.net/performance-brakes-rotors.html

Got them for my vehicle and my wife's Tahoe and I have been very happy with them thus far.

But either way, you probably can't go wrong with just the zinc plated one's unless you do some high track days with your car.

I really want brake rotors that don't rust and of course reliable meaning long lasting, not cheaply made. What's your insight on those? How long have you had them?

I had them for about two years over 30,000 miles. On my wife's they are on for about a year.

I bought the Street Ultimate with are zinc plated for my IS and the Extreme series for my wife's Tahoe. I also picked up the posi quiet semi-metallic pads. They are slightly dusty but the bite is good.

They haven't rusted. The zinc plating didn't say on were the brake pads touch the rotors but it remained on the hub which is the important part. I still have them on my vehicle now.

I'm also in so cal which we don't get alot of rain

Which one? Eline or Premium? $130 or $230? LOL My main concern is it not rusting. People say the zinc plated one don't rust for $130, but on their website it doesn't say it's zinc plated but the Premium one is which $230, so I'm confused.....

TT calipers for sure. I would upgrade to them if I'd find one set for cheap. If not, I'd go real BBK in the future.

The computations wasn't accurate. There's alot of factors that the guy didn't consider. And it's a very old thread. The only thing he considered was the surface area the pads were touching and not the amount of force each piston is giving to the amount of surface area. It was really a waste of time.
