Curious as to what the best aftermarket muffler is for the SC400. My plan is to add a set of headers and redo piping with an x-pipe and cut the stock mufflers off and weld a nice set out back. I just don't see paying through the nose for some of these axle back systems when I can build something nicer for less. Any suggestions.

 

Megans and Magnaflow 14829 are popular options if you are on some sort of budget. Of those two, I would choose Magnaflows. Otherwise, a set of 5zigen mega sounds and looks great but more than double the price of the other two mentioned.
