account i would really like to try that out, but is it as simple as splicing it between the wires?

Celebrating Lexus & Toyota from Around the Globe
According to Dr Tweak the SC HVAC unit sends out a ground and the Aristo ECU wants a +12 volt. We use the SC HVAC unit to ground the trigger wire of the relay. This pulls the switch closed sending a +12v signal to the Aristo ECU.
Cutting the A/C wire gives us two ends. One goes to the Aristo ECU. Other to the HVAC unit. That's two ends right there. For the other two you need to supply a +12v signal.
What i was thinking previously was to find the wire from the climate control unit and hook it up to the ground wire from the relay and supply the 12v along with a 12v signal so when the climate control sends the ground signal to the relay it would complete the circuit sending a 12v to the ecu telling it to turn on. I was thinkin of just a simple 12v relay.
Is the purpose of this relay to draw a small amp?

Best of all it's only a $3.45 fix
I wanna thank account2x for finding the relay as that was the part I was having a hard time finding the right one.
This is where to get it
Radio shack part # 275-233
It's called SPST 12 volt dc Reed Relay rated 0.5A 125VAC that's what it says on the box
http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...=under+%243.99
This is what it looks like thanks to account2x for these info
Then locate e-10 pin 32 which is to tap in to supply power for relay.
Here is how to hook it up, Going off of the picture above.
Top pin gets hooked up to power ( got mine from e-10 pin 32)
Left middle pin gets hooked up to hvac ( which is the e-10 pin 34 wire that was cut, the part going away from the ecu)
Right middle pin gets hooked up to acc power ( e-10 pin 32 again)
Bottom single pin gets hooked AC at ECM ( e-10 pin 34 wire going into the ecu that was cut earlier)
Now just clean up everything and shrink wrap all the the connections after it's been tested and enjoy your now working AC.
Anyone wanna send me a 12 pack of beer after all the headache trying to properly figure out how to fix this
enjoy everyone
