Default Tilton clutch inspection...

I normally don't cross-post, but I thought this information would be useful to those that have Tiltons: http://www.supraforums.com/forum/sho...=1#post8260957

As you can see, I am getting very little wear on my clutch - definitely have no regrets making the investment in a Tilton.

Still good even after all the people that failed the Tilton challenge?

Good god that clutch is more than the transmission, I'd hope it'd last! Glad to hear your having good experiences with it.

Actually, I bought mine as a left-over on a group buy that someone backed out on a long time ago. It was much less expensive than what they sell for today.

I have one of those on my track car. I briefly used it as a daily and decided I couldn't deal with it even with the cerametallic/carbon hybrid setup. The flywheel I have weighs 9 pounds... can't imagine what the 6 pound one feels like!

Mine's a carbon/carbon; so, I can't speak to your concerns above. Additionally, I have the 12lbs flywheel, and it's very manageable.
