Default sc seat question

i just aquired my first lexus, it is a 92 sc400. the seats are about shot. can you tell me what years are interchangable for this car. i dont suppose any other model would work as well. other than that it has 144,000 original miles, is there any special things i should be looking out for or checking on. thank you

They should all be interchangeable. The only difference are whether they are heated or not and the 97+ seats have perforated inserts.

Other than any other SC seats, you can also look into MKIV Supra seats or S2000 seats that directly bolt into the SC. Just note that S2000 tan seats are a little darker than our stock seats.

All years are interchangeable but if the stock leather is on them, you're going to have the same problem down the road. Get in touch with Leatherseats.com for replacement "leather".

Taken directly from the website "The Honda S2000 seats will also bolt down directly to the SC. Some washers are needed for the install, but the seats themselves fit well and are powered. Since the wiring harnesses are different for the seat motors, some basic wire splicing is required."

I believe it's the RSX seats that you need the cutting, welding etc to fit properly. I found it interesting too when I read it.

To OP you can gather a lot of info from the website link posted above

Nice catch... It would have been awkward to think they both had the same bolt pattern. You can't always believe everything you read
