Default Tranny Died...................

So i pulled out of my driveway today on my way to work and didnt make it a1/4 down the road when i tranny went. i was pressing the gas and it was just reving like it was in nutreal.
i left it running for about 30min,while moving it thur the gears.Finnaly i got reverse and was able to make it at my driveway then it died again,turned off and waited 10min and made in IN the driveway.
Got in my ES and left so i got to check it out when i got home

CHeck your fluid, but it sounds like you burnt whatever fluid was left.

Yea thats the first thing im going to check when i get home...but it was driving fine up until this morning no sign of slipping or anything.

my car was doing that as well, when i drained the fluid it was as black as a oil change. Filled it up with the red stuff and its been fine ever since. Well recently it randomly doesn't shift but i just let go of the gas and it'll change gears.

there is fluid in there,and it actually seem like too much. Today im going to drain it and try some new fluid.

alot of times fluid in the number one culprit with these trannies acting up---hopefully that fixes it

and if ur fluid was too high that could of done some harm as well.

Yeah too much fluid could foam up and cause aeration. Builds up alot of heat.
