hello all im new this is my first post i just got a 93 lexus sc400 that needed a timing belt and a few other things . well i fixed the timming and every thing else it was running smooth but when i got on it it kinda jerked a few times . i looked on line and some ppl say its the maf so i cleand it and now it bogs when i give it gas i rechecked the timing and everything is good im just lost and owner befor me said he got the maf changed at the dealership . any help would be great thanks . the maf is also makin a wisling nois when i vary slowly step on the gas it will get to maybe 2000 rpms then it wil bog down and want to die also the fuel press reg is also making a nois like its garguling sorry for my spelling lol ive been up all night working on it and the sun came up like 2 hrs ago but any help would be great thanks

 

How did you clean the MAF? It might be that it was bad, and cleaning it just did the job and killed it. You may need a new one, or a used "good condition" one. Among the timing belt, what other things did you fix?

 

i used that crc electronic cleaner and when i didi it i put it back and it would bog then when i got it to 3000 rpm it would drive smoth but now it wont go past 2000 i dunno but thanks for the help just wish i could get it dun

 

but it idels good turns on every time and idels its just when i give it gas
