Yes. If you dont like it, you can remove the charcoal canister in the back left corner of the engine bay(looking at it from the front with hood open) with I think little to NO side affects. Theres a simple diy on how to do so. If I recall correctly, you need some gas line from autozone, and maybe a T adapter and a straight one as well. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

sorry i have no sound on my cpu at the moment, did it make that air pressure sound when opened?

if so seems normal to me as it ahppenes almost all the time.

yes it is completely normal. that means there is a buildup of pressure from the heat. my 93 sc300 does it all the time on hot days, most older cars do this.
