Default Intake questions.

I've searched, but was unable to find answers to my questions. Anyway, I'm just looking for some basic power increases, and I've found intake, exhaust, and cams to be the most common responses. Well, my birthday is coming up and I decided to go ahead and try to get started on these upgrades. I own a 1999 SC300, and I cannot find a CAI for it. I searched eBay and came across a K&N system that was used and fairly beat up for $50, but that was it. I then checked the K&N website and the AEM website, but found no luck in either place. I was wondering what brand of CAI y'all bought, and where you purchased it from, if it was an online source. Thank you!

You can always go custom like I did, go to local auto parts store and buy a spectre kit with a little bit of extra parts and thinking on how to make it fit you can make yourself for not a lot... I also searched and found only injen makes one for around 300.. i spent less than 120 on prts but I didnt buy their filters I bought another filter and converted it into a cai but theirs works good too....

you can have a shop fabricate a quality and classy intake and exhaust... or you can learn how to weld and do it yourself.
