Default 93 sc400

Hi, im new to this forum. and also new to the sc400. I just bought the shell and will be putting in a new engine and trans. all work will be done by myself. the engine will probably be of a 97-98 1uz-fe, and i would like a manual trans. from what i heard sc400's are only automatics but can have a w58 or r154 put in. i want minimal amount of work, if it requires a ton of extra modding than for me to simply drop in an automatic that wouldn't be too cool. I need this car up and running in a couple weeks. XD any suggestions?

also... what simple mods could i do after i get it up and running to make it a bit faster?

it'll prolly take 2 weeks to get parts in for the 1UZ mtx.. Here is the CAD file for the adapter plate you can take to your local machinist: http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=w58....c0.m270.l1313

yea the SC400 only came auto sad to say. like most other cars, intake full exhaust to get her breathing right will definately free up a few ponies. but just be warned, dropping in a vvti V8 in your non VVti body is not just plug n play, its a good bit of wiring, and i do believe the 98 SC400s are VVti. your best bet is to get the harness, ecu, motor and trans from the donor car
