Front bumper Alteration thoughts
been thinking of altering the factory looks a bit with a lip. I do like the 92-96 bumper over the 97+ bumper. But it still just doesn't look right to me, so i did some photoshop mockups and came up with this. dropped the mouth piece down. Corner lights deleted, added ventilation slit where the hood latch meets the bumper.
Should i do it?

Interesting I like it
but I would not put the ventilation slit where the hood meets and I would keep my cornering lights, also would put the grill in the middle or delete the remaining i see you blacked it out....and plus a million for liking the 92-96 front bumper instead of the 97+

Nice design, except the vent slit up top. Definitely go for it... One thing I wonder is how long it'll last before cracking at the places where you have two different materials (Plastic vs. Fiberglass) I like the lip integration at the middle section alot.
I was actually thinking of doing this since I had an extra 92 bumper in my garage
im just trying to find a way to it cleanly, im thinking fiberglass with less hardner but i dont think that wil last long

Thanks for the input guys.
Hahah seriously, wouldn't be the first time.
I believe i can get away with using very few materials, and in areas where plastic meets FB, i could use an epoxy to bind them. It would at least last through some stress and warping so it wont crack so easily

whoa there skippy, well see how the bumper looks after the alteration IRL. then ill decide if its feasible to market it. Hopefully the alteration is easy and cheap enough for anyone with a 92-96 bumper to do, as an alternative to just a lip.
