power seat
had this happen to me.
lemme guess. it seems to pivot on the door side, the inside moves, while the outside stays in place?
I had to pull the seat out (I have absolutely no clue how I didn't break the seat in the process), I found a little white cap had unscrewed it's self. under where the cap is is a bearing, and a gear that goes to the outside track. since the cap wasn't holding the bearing where it should be, the gear backed out, and wasn;t contacting where it should to move the track.
Good luck.

What BenStoked said is a common problem and a easy diy fix. Remember you can manually move the seat forward and backward.....there is a DIY on how to manually move the seat (allows you to remove seat)...just do a search
