Powerball does a decent job. Can you post a picture of how bad they are and we can have a better judgement on what you need?

another option is powdercoating.

im not speaking from experiance but ive heard it is quite reasonable in price to get this done.

Aside from that it probably isnt worth restoring the stock wheels as u could just as easily buy a better set for the price.

good luck

I wouldn't waste money on powdercoating. There was a set of 350Z 18's that went for 350$ on here recently iirc.

just interested in your reasoning is all.

is powdercoating not suitable for rims--like doesnt last or chips easily or something?

or is it just that you dont like the look?

personally im into chrome wheels pretty much but ive seen some colored wheels recently that look pretty good as well.

thanks

IMO, the stock rims are not worth powder coating when you can get a decent set of 350Z or G35 rims for a little bit more or the same.

For instance, my friend was just quoted 400$ to do a set of 4 rims. Then you have to pay someone to dismount them and then remount and balance. By the time you add all of that up, you could have just bought yourself a new set of cheap XXR's, or used wheels with tires on craigslist/eBay.

oh yes on that note i agree with you 100%

personally the first thing a person should do is get rid of the stock rims.

but if the op seems to like the stock look i dont see anything wrong with getting them powdercoated a similar color.

Painted or chrome? If they are painted, spray them with oven cleaner and let them sit for a few minutes and power wash them down (with soap). DO NOT let the oven cleaner sit for more than a few minutes as it will eat the aluminum. It does make them look brand new though. Might have to scrub them down real quick before spraying them but it works. And well.
