Can anyone suggest a good place to find a low milage Sc400 transmission, for a decent price and shipping?

 

from what i hear i would try alga but y not go 5spd

 

i would love to go 5sp, just dont have the time to source the parts, this is my only car.

check this link out --there are some here but im sure you can find better if you look around.

from what ive heard there are places that sell these trannies with guarantees on them for only a couple hundred dollars----one guy I think paid $150 but it was probably for an older model sc--not sure if that matters.

 

i could be wrong but it looks as though the trannies from 92 to 97 are all interchangable.

the changes probably happened in the 98-00 models which could be a good thing for you

Thanks man, yeah i was looking at the ones on ebay, i emailed a couple of companys so hopefully tom i hear something.

 

post a wanted ad in the classifieds on here, I got one with in a few days for 150$+shipping, it only had 110k miles and no issues what so ever.

 

Would a jdm tt trans work? They are both a341's and you can pick these up dirt cheap.

Bellhousings would need to be swapped I would imagine?
