The front portion of the driveshaft to the middle carrier is going to be a direct fit from the Supra to the SC.

The rear portion of the driveshaft to the differential is going to come up 5.5" short because of the extra 5.5" in wheelbase the SC has.

There is a 1" difference in driveshaft length between the US 6SPD differential and the GS400 differential.

thanks for proving a point 5th and 6th are the same.. less rpm, whats the point? no one does top speed runs... so there's no point.. if you want a fast car its just as fast same speed then go r154 spend the difference on mods if your that worried spend 1300 bucks on the r154 to get billet parts and rebuild from MC. and it will be good to 1200hp. if he had done research and made up his mind this thread wouldn't exist. im trying to help out op.plus aristo prices have gone down. i say much better choice and spend difference for upgrades, fuel, turbo, tune etc..

Dude are you kidding me? show me one Sc or supra with MC rebuild parts that make 1200hp you said the exact same word in another thread, please don't make that statement again because we all know it's BS.
that's not true i need to see some proof, do you have some data to back it up?
did you see someone make 1200hp ? or you just heard or read on the forums.

r154 with the stock w58 gearing works wonders 3rd lasts forever! 45- 95 4th goes to like 150 ish and 5th is just.. wow.. but no one cares about top speed. while you go 2nd and 3rd almost to 4th you can just stay in 3rd with r154... so far it sounds like a noob fight in here.

i just read your post about needing 5.5 extra inches on the drive shaft, um thats alot!!!!! im pretty sure that is totally wrong. the r154 swap the mk3 front peice is a tad shorter. 5.5 inches??? why? the sc and the mk4 are basically the same undercarriage.
actually to a 96 and up sc300 there's no modification needed to the tranny tunnel, confirmed by Shaun at Titan.

Even if you have a 92 SC300 you won't need a tunnel , on the supra people replace the tunnel on the SC it's not need.
I did the swap on 95 Sc and no tunnel was needed.
It's a straight forward swap bro, please post some pics when you start .
thanks

I'll soon be getting the swap from your connect, as long as he will have one available when I get the funds together

Are you going full gte or na-t 6 speed ? I think buying the full swap will be cheaper than just buy the tranny from the importers... you can always sell the engine setup and harness it you decided to do na-t.

I think Cleanshots is just bitter because he chose the wrong transmission, so he's trying to make up BS to make himself feel better. :P

These are my plans:

2jzgte w/ v160 both from supra
Carbonetics clutch
Hks 272 cams
Titan cam gears
Haltech ps 2000
Custom intake and exhaust manifolds
4" exhaust
pt7076 turbo from precision
Injector dynamic id1000 injectors
Precision intercooler
Harness by tweak
Supra tt rear end and drivers side axle
2 Bosch pumps inline
Aeromotive fpr
Mack boost solenoid
5 bar map sensor

I'm leaving a few things out but 15k later I should be in the 850 hp range.....
