If you have the money, get the front bumper repainted and buy a clear bra to prevent it from happening again.

^ thats exactly what I'm doing sometime this spring. A good detailer would be able to get rid of the rock-chips as well, instead of repainting it. But a repaint might be cheaper.

And since we're on the topic, where can I get a complete clear-bra for the SC?? I've been quoted at around $800 to get it done professionally. But we did a friends car this past summer and it turned out really well. So I just need the bra so I can save some money and do it myself..

You mention the lip, not the front bumper. Which is it?

If it's the stock lip, they aren't painted so I'm assuming it's an aftermarket one like Wise.

Same thing has happened to my Wise lip. It was nice and glossy black when I bought my car last year. Then over time I started seeing a few blue spots. Now I have thousands of them. The guy painted this lip with a spray can or something. Now I have to fix his awesome paint skills. Just another Saturday added to the books.

I used to see them all the time on the high end vehicles(Ferraris, Lambos,Aston Martins) when they come in for inspection.
