My antenna mast broke and I took apart the antenna motor to take out the broken pieces. After finishing the clean up, I plug back the antenna motor to the car(without mast) and seems no problems (motor works). Turn on the radio and waited for the motor to stop, then I inserted the new antenna mast from ebay. I turned off the car, the mast went down, but kinda have some difficulty going down. The motor stop and only took in maybe 60% of the mast... I dont know how to fix this problem. Any suggestion?

 

Does the new mast need some lubrication ?
