Then let him do it. Engineers don't like to be told how to do things that is for techs.

It has to do with the position, number and orientation of the lights. I doubt OLT is going to give you the answers because he owns lextech lighting .

Negative, that was a long time ago, but I am being serious when I say engineers don't like to be told what to do. That's what they went to school for, engineering. Durrrrrr.

just wire in a 35w 5000K hid kit behind the cluster. You'll never have hot spots ever again and cars behind you will be able to see your cluster as well!!

I think it looks good for just plug and play. The hardest part is removing the cluster form the three harnesses from the back. I used the same LEDS, but used super bright ones, with blue needles. I also changed out all of the cluster backlighting for the other things, coolant, brght lights, brake, etc.

I think as far as plug-n-play goes, this is about as good as it gets. Best results are using the halo CCFL's

^ Agree, just for warm climates only. CCFL and ballast don't fire in the cold reliably.

Is there a DIY on this? Or am I just supposed to take out the tac, twist off and twist on the bulbs?
