just finished my 1j swap and tuning. just about 300 to the tires. now driving around hard shifting between gears there is a serious nopower pause.

so say im going from second to third, gas pedel to the floorng, nothing nothing, nothing, then power. its not lag there is just nothing there like a dead spot...

please help

 

probably something with fuel, check out your tune look at the wideband if you have one. put down some more info too if you can

 

Mine does the same thing before until i tuned it a little more. In my case it was a dead rich spot, the engine gets flooded as you quickly press the gas pedal and after it awhile it will start to pull

 

Maybe a boost leak?
