am i doing something wrong??
so my cel is on along with the trac light and the trac off (hittin the trac button does nothing)
so i tried getting codes by jumping the terminals TE1 and El but my cel nvr flashed, my over drive flashed but i cant get the cel to flash anything
so am i doing this wrong or is something jus wrong?

If this is the first time you've jumped the terminals, you've got to be firm. Make sure the wire is bottoming in the diagnostic box. This happened to me and it just wasn't connecting. CEL and "Trac off" light indicates a code, but the "Trac" light on the dash might be a problem with the Traction control accumulator or a loose wire at the wheel sensor. Also,this happens to me occasionally when it's cold outside...like 10 to 15 F.
ok ill try that and see if i can get it to flash, im pretty sure ive been pushing the wire as deep as i could but ill recheck, and i think im due for a new brake cylinder tht might be seeting off the trac light?
