i was taking off the throttle body today putting in new spark plugs and i hit the black cap thing to the left of the body the cap poped off and a cotton like filter fell out? well i lost the filter thing fell into the unknown never got to the bottom. what is it called? purpose? can i get a new one?

 

theres a thread on this thing but idk what the hell its called lol...i drov with mines off and on never felt a difference....
