Default Properly aiming our headlights?

Last year I picked up a brand new set of head lights from Lexus and they have a pretty decent cut off line where you can see the ___/----___/--- lines (I hope you know what I mean ). I have a set of 5k HIDs in them but I want to get the most out of them as far as visibility and safety (not blinding other people). Currently I never every get flashed by oncoming traffic except when I have my fogs on and then its only some times. I read a guide a looong time ago that had you park your car parallel to a wall and do xx inches up and across ect. I know there is a up/down screw and another one (left/right??). So, what is the proper way to aim headlights?
