I polished my exhaust tips today. Also cleaned up the tips on my LS430, GS300, and my sister’s IS350.

I washed it along with the GS300 and F-Pace. Very relaxing.

Not yet. My SC used to be clean all the time and I was known amongst my friends for always having the cleanest car all the time. I’ve been slacking quite a bit since then since I don’t go out as often.

All is well here. How about you?

Gave my SC a little bit of a beat down to make sure my neighbors remember me

Swapped out my old leather interior for some OEM cloth seats. Did a good clean too.

Anyone ever run into the problem where the driver side seat plugs wont mate? Looks like I have more pins on the male side. Any easy fixes before i try to rewire?

US spec cars didn't come with cloth seats. Those are probably from a Soarer which might explain the connector discrepancy

There were a few early SC’s and LS400’s with cloth seats in the U.S. They’re extremely rare but I’ve seen a few. I knew a local guy with a 1990 LS400 with cloth seats. They held up way better t(an most of the leather seats did.

I stand to be corrected on this statement. Everything I have read is that the slick top car (no sunroof) came with cloth seats. This was a economy version of our cars and one I wish I had been able to find. There was one in a salvage yard down your way at one time that I had bought a few minor parts from and I called them back to buy the roof after thinking about it for a month but it was gone.

Huh, seems I was wrong about the cloth seats on US cars, my bad. Maybe its a year thing then, did the connectors change over production years?

Bill luckily my neighbors seem to like me despite my tendency to leave them decorations in the street outside of my house. I'm sure I'd dig being your neighbor except you'd have a hard time getting rid of me on the weekends!
