You must be

You our must be on stock brake calipers running gs300 wheels, and are you going to weld the fender? Not too bad of a cut!!

I'd love to own two SC's with your same mindset... One for the weekends/track and one just to cruise. Nice set of cars sir!

That’s cool, but I can get them a lot cheaper! Great for an emergency oil change though!

^^ agreed, they are cheaper in bulk. beats the shipping wait tho, and the cost is tacked onto the grocery list haha

Yeah - that is the best part for me - working any SC cost into the weekly budget is a win for me IMO.

And oh yeah - my coilovers are ready to ship now -- I have been looking forward to those for a while now. Can't work those puppies into the budget unnoticed though.

Hopefully they will make for some good what did you do to your SC today pics from me soon!

Default SC400 fix drivers door lock

Unable to get in my car as alarm fobs have failed.
Key won't unlock doors I discovered but it should!

So fix lock then at least I can get in but alarm will go off as there is no override.
It's made not to start either!
Every wire on the alarm is black. In the unlabeled black box (it's blue) I see it uses a PIC processor.
Old piranhas brand sold under their label in Oz.
Steve's alarms it's labeled but he couldn't help with wiring diagram.

So just the beginning of the pain.

Footnote Make sure another car door is unlocked BEFORE closing it. DOH!

Yeah - took a while to decide and then a few weeks to get my coils. I went with a Fortune Auto Muller setup, which just came last Friday:
https://fortune-auto.com/coilovers/mullermsc1way/

In theory they give you a OEM type ride and still good control and they are 12k/8k so a bit on the softer side compared to some others. I will report on how I like them and post some pictures of my car with its new stance.

A set back hit Saturday when I saw that one of my new tires was flat and has a big piece of metal in it - not sure if it can be repaired or not. After that gets sorted out I hope to jump on the coils.

I will PM you if something comes up - thanks for the help.

Your car looks great btw - pretty impressive for what you consider a budget build.

I washed it last night. Yesterday was also the ten year anniversary of me owning the car. It was also my first car too.

i hope to get it running soon.
