It is incredibly easy to do , it is not time consuming and the benefits far out way not doing it at all .

Oh, and last night I also removed the plastic door edge trim. 25 years of melted adhesive. Very scary, but luckily it came off with some persistant scrubbing and looks much cleaner in my opinion.

I drove it home from work and something on it popped under the hood. The battery light came on and I lost power steering. My guess is the serpentine belt snapped or the crank pulley broke.

same thing happened to me a few years ago. battery light, lost ps, but for me, i believe it was the serpentine belt tensioner that gave way and blew the radiator. gl on the repairs!

Makes me glad that I replaced the tensioner the last time that I changed the belt. I knew that something really bad might happen if I waited.

Oh yeah - back to topic. I dropped my 93 SC300 off to see if my shop can figure out where my AC refrigerant keeps disappearing to. And when I get it back I will put on the new wheels and tires I got for it last week.

Test fit a new wheel setup, Advan TC4:
18x9 +35 225/40/18 (will be changing to a 245/40/18)
18x10 +35 295/30/18

Everything clears the supra tt brakes with plenty of room. I would highly recommend this setup for anyone looking for a meaty tire setup.

Yes, it certainly is! Until I saw some of the SCs on this forum I thought that all of the white ones were ugly, but now I know better.

Thanks everyone. I'm really happy with this setup. The fit and look is better than I was expecting. Kinda wish I had ordered the wheels in bronze though.
