Sorry to create duplicate thread...wasnt getting any response in the lighting forum...
Updating the lighting on my sc300 and really want to change out the "indicator lights" for the climate control to blue. (the lights above the defroster, circulation and AC buttons)
kind of stuck at this point...
has anyone done these before?
also it feels like the board is still attached to something inside the housing, I cant see in there though and dont want to risk breaking anything.
Do I just need to desolder the bulbs from the back of the board or what..might be in a little over my head here?
yea, it's past the clips, it just feels like its still held in by something and I don't want to ruin a climate control that had nothing wrong with it in the first place. There's nothing else it should be attached to?
nope i just took two apart the other day to change the "nipples" on the lights to get the greenish color on my new one..
theres two screws on the pcb it self but that just holds the white plastic cover to protect the lcd..nothing else..
the years i worked on were 92 which was my original and supposedly a 93 however it was amber which is suppose to be from 95..so im not positive.
