I actually left my 97 side pieces on too because with out it the side parts of the rear lip didnt seem to sit right

Is it real or knockoff? My real JIC fits nice overall. How about some pics of the problem areas?

Pretty sure this guys is knock off. From what I knew JIC stuff fits almost perfect from the factory

The JIC lip is made for a 92-96 rear bumper, if you try to put it on a 97 the fit would be horrible. When I installed mine I put a 95 Rear bumper and extensions on. The early bumpers have a place for it to sit in, 97+ dont. I am not sure if this is the problem but looking at your profile I see you have a 97.............

oh look at that good catch Scott. I know the knock offs are sold from some companies as 92-00. So you may have found the issue

Damn. I wish I knew that before I bought the kit. It's been like that over a year now. Oh well, at least I know what do do to make it fit now.
