Fair Market Value Opinions - '97 SC300 RSP w/ NEW PAINT
I have a '97 RSP SC300 with Two-Tone interior that just came out of paint, so the paint is 100% fresh and the car looks brand new.
My question is this: KBB has the car valued at $6900 in EXCELLENT condition, $6500 in good. Given the rarity of the RSP and having new paint, what would be a reasonable asking price for the car. I can grab some pics once it stops raining in Dallas.

Thats why you will see a lot of people put there car back to stock then sell it. Then part out any mods cause thats how you can make the most money.

Normally I would stray away from new paint. Only because I dont like anything thats not original. As another poster pointed out, at least mods you can part out and sell the car as original. Unfortunately you obviously cant do that to paint.
Having said that though, I'm sure there are lots of people out there who see new paint as a plus and would be willing to pay top dollar for it.
Btw, is this the RSP that had some serious clear coat failure on the roof and trunk a year or so ago? If so I was seriously considering purchasing it, but hated the idea of having to repaint it.
