Default My super progress/build thread

Well I started with this.

Then I was cheap so I chopped my springs.

She had 69,000 miles on it. Factory 5 speed. It was seriously still in mint condition.

Then we played in the rain.

Threw on some z wheels.

Then I got a little more serious. My first drift day at Oreilly Raceway Park in Indianapolis.

Then I did some things im not so proud of . . .

Actually I was replacing a wheel bearing at my second drift day. Speedrome in Indianapolis. I drove the car to the track, 4 and a half hours, on a totally shot bearing. Picked up the parts that I ordered at the Indy Lexus, then threw them on the morning before that event. And by this time I had Stance coilovers and a welded diff.

So then I did my thing at that event. Midwest Drift Union was holding a compitition for non caged drivers in which the winner gets a free cage.

I ended up winning this comp so it was cage time for me!

Then I raced at Gateway International Raceway in St. Louis. Amazing event but no time to get the cage installed yet.

Then i tucked my bumper and cut out my spare tire well.

And now this is where I stand.

No heat. No air. No radio. Not much dash. And a lot less wiring.

From a mint 68000 sc 5-speed black interior to gutted and chopped, you should have passed this one to someone who wants to baby a car and just buy a beat up one to play around with. However, I do respect someone who drives their car like it's meant to be driven, just sad to see a mint one go this route lol

Yeah, seems like a waste of a clean SC. Always nice to see an SC being driven like it should though.
