Default SC400 Help

Hey Guys I need help with a few things with my new SC400.

1.When I put it into gear the car lauches. Engine and trans seem like they are trying to leap out of the car. Slight jerk from 1st to 2nd gear. I thinking Tranny mount. *********Please Advise***********

2. I can not seem to find any driver door panels that are in decent. Anyone know of any for sale. ********Please Advise***********

3. The slightest bump and my CD skips in the changer. Only slot 7 and 8 work? Any fixes guys? Also if I purchase an aftermarket wire harness will I be able to use the stock amps in the car? *******Please Advise******

4. What kind of gas mileage should I be getting from a full tank. (Driving like I have some sense)

5. Will a gauge cluster, shift bezel **** (wood grain) , tail lights, rearview mirror, from a 99 fit my 92.

thank you in advanced.

wow -----I dont have much advice to offer you other than I am pretty sure the cluster from a 99 will not fit a 92 without some serious electrical modifications.

And from a full tank of gas i seem to get between 325-500 kilometres per tank depending on how much of that is city driving.

Good luck

And whats the mileage on your car?

first advice:
STOP SAYING "please advise"
It's annoying, and you will get advice, just say "i'm stuck, and don't know what to do."
(sorry, work in IT, and see this redundancy every day; if you weren't asking for help, you wouldn't be emailing.... DUH!!! /rant)

1) sounds like motor mounts, as well.
2) yeah, I know what you mean. been looking, and they are either trash, or outrageously priced. Check the FS section.
3) have you tried cleaning the lense? and are the trays good? yes, with the proper harness.
4) gas what? it's a v8! (lol, actually, IDK).
5) not as such; there was a thread recently (either newly made, or bumped), and I noticed it in passing.

On a clean, properly maintained SC400 engine, maybe 17 mpg. The disc changer is known to skip. Invest in a new head unit or a tape deck to aux. jack. The mount might be the problem, pm aliga for parts. There is full compatibility with all SC parts of all years, to their respective counterparts(the 300 and 400), but harnesses and some minor details such as wiring and sensors will be different in the newer models. But you need not worry about it. Best piece of advice... use the search function. Hope this helps.
