Where does your temp guage sit normally? Mine sits right on half. seems a little high to me. But im used to my cars sitting around 1/3. or a little under half. Just got the car so Im wondering what the average is.

Half for me as well, and I had to check up on it when I first got it, because like you I'm used to them sitting around 1/3.

Half. It actually seems like a full sweep gauge unlike most clusters that are "COLD, NORMAL, HOT" voltage wise.

My 97 sat almost exactly at halfway point while my 92 sits just slightly under half.

mine sits between the half line and the 3rd line, it used to sit at half.

I think its because my stock fan clutch was shot and i could stop my fan from spinning with my hand, So I removed the stock fan and replaced it with 2 14" electric fans and flushed out the cooling system.

Mine sits a hair above the center line. I flushed the coolant and it didn't help. I've
read that these temp gauges are more of an "on and off" switch and basically will
tell you if your car is overheating.

well either my waterpump or my tstat is out so when it warms up it sits just right above half..but i've been contemplating an oil cooler like i have stock in my s10..in my s10 it barely gets above 160 degrees.

Mine sits at this level all the time. Summer, fall, winter...It runs pretty normal to me.
