oh man, manaray's gonna get pissed if he sees this if there's all this interest now. the last I checked there were all these people who wanted the wood wheels and then when push came to shove, people started flaking even after he put all this effort into getting the group buy *THEN* (just like he did with that body kit deal for the SC)...hopefully, people who see the post and are interested, don't flake this time

Well there has already been a few drop outs. But we have run into another problem. A/S requires at least 5 wheels to be sent in at one time (5 of each style)...however, most of the buyers who are left are all LOANERS. We don't have that many loaners. We have like 1 loaner.

So we have to do it in quanties of 1-4...most likely, it'll need to be done one by one since the loaners are the problem. This has cause the price to up for you guys by $30. And that's not even the FULL amount of the upcharge...we are absorbing part ofhte upcharge...

So if you guys can get by w/o any loaners, that would help out a LOT....

i'd be in on this except i don't know how to remove the wheel myself (fear or setting of air bags).
taking it to the dealer is too much of a hassle. requires 2 install+deinstalls.

READ THE THREAD to learn how to get in...

As far as the airbag, honestly, it's easy. 4 screws, 1 bolt. I've been swapping my wheel in and out with different wheels all day long. The only thing is that you need to go to the dealer to have them reset the AIR BAG light...takes them 10 seconds to do.

As for the removal, it takes 10 minutes. The only thing you need to do is make sure you put it on straight. It's VERY obvious when you mess up...the wheel will be off by quite a bit...

There was a post on how to do it...the search feature should be able to find it...
