Thanks to everyone for all the helpful advice...but problem solved...it appears the sensor wasn't plugged in all the way, or it has short... After pushing on the connector and making sure it was plugged in all the way the flashing o/d light disappeared. I have driven it for a day and half without any light flashing...
Here's what interesting, I came across this link while researching my problem, and I can definitely say it does make a difference.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...-its-free.html

My car had harder, faster take offs, shifts were harder when the sensor wasn't plugged in all the way...Now that its plugged in, it shifts smoother, appears that fuel mileage is better, and it doesn't squat down as much on take offs....I can tell the difference after reprogramming the ECU again and taking off hard in it... Just my 2 cents...

I'll send you links to other forums later this evening..try searching for "code 67" in the forums.. the sensor is located on the drivers side of the car, right after the bell housing towards the front of the transmission.. You'll see a connector going to it. Basically, I just pushed in on the connector, took the car for a spin and no more o/d light..check with Rawkus if you need a sensor, he had a set that he was willing to sell...your tranny has 2 sensors, 1 on the front after the bell housing, and another towards the rear...code 67 points to the one on the front!

Good thing you found your issue, mine was just the sensor not being good so it can play both ways...
