Did you just used automotive paint? How would they hold up to heat? I would think they hold up to dd, but would it up to heat at the track?

Yes, we used automotive paint, which should suffice in most circumstances, contrary to popular assumption.
Heat transmits from the metal backing of the pads to the metal ring of the pistons, which is a small surface area. So for a non-floating caliper like this, it would take alot of sustained braking to heat the whole piece of aluminum up.
That is why I didn't paint the rotor hats to match the calipers because the rotors and hats gets very hot and I do not want to risk it flaking off

I just had problems with my evo brembos flaking off using 900 high temp paint at the track....

The brakes area is a harsh enviroment. Brake dust is very corrosive. So it is not just the heat that you have to worry about
