Default A/T Throttle Cable

Recently picked up an SC300 and replaced the leaking valve cover gaskets today. When removing the manifold y pipe I noticed that the previous owner had the A/T Throttle Cable not hooked up. When driving it did seem to shift at a higher than normal rpm and very smoothly

After reinstalling the y pipe and everything I hooked this cable back up. I now notice that the car shifts a lot quicker and a little more aggressive than before.

I have two questions.

1. Should I worry that something may have been damaged w/ this cable unhooked for an unknown period of time? I've had it for two weeks and put less than 100 miles on it so far, but have no idea how long the previous owner drove it around like that.

2. To what specs do i adjust it? I searched online and in the manuals, and only found adjustment of the accelerator throttle cable, not the a/t trans throttle cable.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
