my pops has a 95 SC400. he told me last week that it felt kinda sluggish. i know that with the 2nd gen GS you can reset the ECu and the car leaps. i was wondering if the same applied for the SCs. not quite sure since they dont have the vvt-i. let me know.......

Yes you can by stopping power to the ECU by disconnecting the battery or pulling the fuses. If the car is sluggish it probably needs a tune-up though.

 

Why would resetting the ECU remedy a sluggish car?

Wouldn't it just become sluggish again?
