I think I'm going to look for just the right running light, I might even see if I can find something shaped or different to put next to the halo.

WAY too much effort for a small payoff. As long as it wouldn't cause hyper blink, maybe a small LED square or circle or something.

Shanty,

I'll ask not to see this sort of thing in the future please. Not asking you to like something you don't care for, but be mature and constructive about stating your opinion. Your post above is a good example of what NOT to do and will take a thread like this off track, cause arguments and get the thread closed.

PM me if you want to discuss further and I'll ask for you and the other members to keep this thread on topic and follow the advice I posted above.

My list of sub 300 dollar mods that I can do is growing short. Soon time to save for an engine or something else.

I want them but one bad thing is the low beam bulbs are H1 so i can use my 9006 hid in them...

halos shouldn't be put on the sc.. the headlight housing is way to small but the is300 looks nice..

and the LED strip that is from audi.. not lexus i've seen so many people with different cars that have that and its ricey in my opinion, hell even my girlfriend thinks so

the best thing you can do is get supermade lens and you'll be good

plus i dont think cars are fashionable? don't hop on the bandwagon with the LED strips and the halos..

I already have CCFL's. They are in my cluster and came that way from the factory.

This makes me wonder why other luxury car manufacturers (Audi/BMW) have put a lot of effort into their headlights, which now sorta give their brand a destinct style and look (trademark if you will), but Lexus hasnt dablled in that idea for design.
You guys think its cuz Lexus' signature trademake is something lame like "reliability" or " persuing perfection"?

^ exactly my point. What noticable exterior designs does Lexus have that distinguish it as a Lexus, as Audi and BMW have in their headlights.

they've done that hole green tint on their glass...I don't know why they shied away from that in their more recent cars.

back to OP, most of us are going to say CCFLs are not for our Lexus, but don't let that deter you. We may not like certain mods, but we always appreciate a good work and effort. You do it right and it might change our mind. Happy modding!

I personally don't like them, but with some modifications I think they can look decent.
By the way, I heard that they are not too adjustable. Just my 2 cents..
