Why aren't the CCFL's popular here?
To me they look easily better than the stock SC lights, which are obviously solid in their own right.
I don't think they're overly ricey either. I ordered mine and they should be here in a couple days. My list of sub 300 dollar mods that I can do is growing short. Soon time to save for an engine or something else. |
talking about angle eyes? or those ebay headlights?

imo "angel eyes" typically look out of place and tacky on any other car than a bmw, and even on them its played out. no offense :dunno: |

I think they both add a slight bit of fashion to an area that was overlooked for a long time. |
Nothing looks good on SC when it comes to CCFLs, SC headlight is an awkward shape for halos.
Looks really good on IS300 though. |
CCFLs or halos look good in twos...not one.

its all personal opinion. i like them. and think they dont look much different than stock.

I love them! I'd put them on my SC if I knew how, but I need to see pics of how it would look first. I don't want to stick them on and it makes the car look ricey...

It's all good. Some dummies here think that horrible lame ass SC with the stickers all over it and the purple wheels is "clean".
And the only thing thats not complete garbage about those headlights is the clear lens. |

Well, I only had last Saturday to work on the car...And not all day due to family commitments. So, I did manage to replace the wrong injector with the correct one, but it took many hours, as I had to remove the throttle body, charge tube, and several other items to do so. I will replace the O-Ring on the Power Steering reservoir this week, and finish up on the e-brake adjustment and get this thing on the road.
I stopped by and saw my headlights today...They are completed. They look Badass. I am quite pleased with them. The goal was to make a light that looked OEM, incorporated high quality HID, and still remainered OEM compliant...I managed to do so. Lety me know your thoughts...I will take better quality pics later, and soon some pics with them on the car. But not before the reveal.
