I was just wondering if these aftermarket tail lights for a 1997 sc400 would fit. The back up lights seem configured differently but the seller assures me they are good to go.

Also, these lights seem like a fairly good upgrade for my yellowed out 97's. Has anyone seen or installed these on their SC?

the first two look much better and yes itll fit

 

I like the first two alot better but it just seems like the bulbs are in different places. Maybe im wrong. Will I have to configure them differently or have an electrician rewire. I want something simple thats plug and play

what year is your car? if you got a pre 97 when you put them in your "tail light" in the cluster will light up and the flasher will flash rapidly as if you got a blown bulb.

 

to be honest just get the 97 oem tails...the ebay ones r ricey ,cheap lookin, and shouldnt be on a lexus

I have the oem tails now but the orange bothers the hell out of me and my reverse lights are super yellow. Want something all red and white. Hate the sonar ebay ones but my cars too nice to have old orangey looking lights on the back. Thanks for all the replies

If you're not scared of taking your 97's apart, I would paint the reverse lights black and paint the rest of the taillight red. It would look awesome. You could also put blue LED bulbs in your reverse lights and it would look pretty sick with the black.

 

i dont have the stomach to take them apart. That would be the choice thing to do. Saw someone on here paint the yellow parts a silver color and the orange parts red. Looked great. Moreso looking for someone who can possibly do a mod like that for me on 97's or 95-96's for cash. Thanks

 

The mk4 supra style ones are just wrong.
