Default TEIN H.TECH spring alternatives (<1inch drop)

I'm currently on Supra OEM springs and shocks and want to go a little lower. The only spring I found lowering the car for less than 1 inch are the H.TECHs. Are there any other Supra springs with less than a 1 inch drop from Supra stock height?

Yes I know, why do I even bother do drop it by less than 1 inch, why not go coilovers yadda yadda ... thing is there's only so much I can do while still staying legal, which unfortunately I have to for various reasons.

The only Tanabe spring offered for the MKIV Supra is the GF210 (1.2f/1.0r)

Supercoupes, you're very limited considering your criteria. The closest thing I've found so far is the H&R spring (1.1f/1.0r). What is the absolute limit while still being considered 'legal'?

Good recommendation! The next question is whether it'd be easy for the OP to obtain them.

Thanks for the help guys. Had to Google the luxury masters, looks like they are discontinued TEINs as well right? Just like the H.TECHs which I can't find anywhere.

Well, if you have any other suggestions or a secret source for hard to get TEIN parts let me know.

GSteg, sorry I overlooked you mentioning the H&Rs which I already considered. I can go lower by no more than 1 inch in total, so the 0.5 Supra OEM drop plus 1 inch by the lowering springs are too much. Coilovers are illegal altogether unless you have some serious "driving dynamics" testing done to prove they're safe for your car. No need to mention that those tests cost more than any set of coils

Also, I'm kind of worried of having issues with camber, alignment, not to mention a harsher ride. I actually like how it's riding now on the Supra OEM suspension so I'd really like something that comes as close to it as possible.

But you're right, looks with all the TEINs no longer being available, I'm out of options.

Your only other option is to revert back to SC shocks and get Eibach springs (8230.140) that's made specific for the SC. They'll lower the car 1.0" all around.

Yeah, thought of going back to SC shocks / Eibachs. Might be all that I got left.

I also found a couple of RSR on Yahoo auctions, but if the translation works correctly they all lower the car by > 1inch (40/25mm). Am I looking at the wrong items?

Done some more research and might have found another solution ... Koni yellows with adjustable perch. At its lowest setting, that should lower the car about .75 in the front and .5 in the rear while keeping the OEM Supra springs, which would be ideal.

Can anyone comment on this combination. Maybe even pics? Also, there's conflicting information out there regarding ride quality. While on Supraforums the consensus seems to be that they're smooth, I found a thread on a german Supra forum where everybody said they're super rough. Any comments on this?

Or the "guys" posting on the german board were actually girls

But seriously, I also posted the question about the Koni Sports over at Supraforums. Based on the feedback I got there, I think I'm going to go this route.
