Default Dash and Console Paint

Hey guys, what type/brand of paint would you recommend to use that won't run or fade? Is there any techniques to know for preping the dash or center console shroud before the paint is applied? Share your knowledge!

SEM vinyl/fabric paint. Use a 3M or SEM adhesion promoter before painting.

there's no such thing as run-proof paint. if you don't do it right..or should i say...if u over do it, any and all paint will run.

the key is multiple light and even coats sprayed at an angle.

my dash is painted SEM landau black, and everyone who sees it, swears that it was not painted.

Here are some pics of my car after using SEM dye for all the black pieces. Came out great and this was done last year and still looking as good as the day I had it done. It's all in the prep work as well as putting light, even coats and you will be set.

Funny thing is, i found that meet purely by accident.

I just went to Lollicup to get a slush....and then all of a sudden i see all these dope cars. I was like WTF?! OH HELLZ YEAH! so i stuck a round for a while to see the goods.

and about the UCF meet.. i wasen't even aware of it.

Maybe i'll come through when my car gets repainted and is somewhat presentable. Cause right now my SC is looking cuh-razy with mismatched wheels and needing some TLC.

PM me some more info about the meet/time and stay in touch cause i dont know any other SC owners in the orlando area..
