does the the 3k rev limit problem only occur with the 95 sc's and up or will my 92 encounter the problem?

i was just wondering if that is a probem ppl have run into swapping into the early model sc's im ordering my motor today or tomorrow so im just gathering the wiring issues i might encounter also is there a way around buying the msd tach adapter?

 

3k rpm rev limit a common occurrence? only if something is wrong or not swapped properly. as for the tach adapter, no, you will need it.

 

Happened on my car. Happened on CCC-TT's 95, happened on aka paco's 95. It'll happen on all 95's with 1jz swaps. Your 92 should be fine.

EDIT: OP, what engine are you swapping in? I didn't use a tach adapter on my swap, but I think you may have to with aristo swaps.
