i missed a deal locally a guy was selling a black on black 98 SC300, said it needed engine work, car was in good shape only wanted $800.. called to pick it up the next day and it was sold.. now it's on my local craigslist for $5700 ...
nice 99 though, the 3 spoke and gated shifter definetly add to the interior.

I think it's an a acoustic sound levelizer, if it is, it would turn volume by itself up and down depending on your speed when your windows are down so you can hear it good rolling down the street
