BPU 1JZ 5spd @ 14.5psi

My first time runnin the car legally after doing the swap.

- Intake
-3" exhaust
-3" custom dp
-4" front mount intercooler

My best time 2nite was

R/T: .568
60: 2.301
330: .000
1/8: 8.984
MPH: 83.26
1000: 11.513
1/4: 13.647
MPH: 106.15

NO Boost Controller on my car..LoL

I think if I get my 60ft to a 2.0 then I will b running low 13's

 

Thats a high trap speed. And with a 2.3 it should be around 14.6

i believe the rule of thumb is for every .1 off ur 60ft = .2 off ur 1/4 mile..

Ha ha, keep your feathers down. I just see it being odd. Our cars have the same mods and I did a 14.1 @ 99. with a 2.225 60 foot. Why your trap speed is so high is strange.

 

I understand what u are sayin, but I have no reason to lie ova a forum..I will post the time slip 2moro, but jus cuz we have the same mods doesn't mean that we will run the same time, the driver is the most important thing...I've seen 12 sec cars run 14's jus cuz the driver couldn't drive it right....

Anyway how much boost are u runnin?? And also I have a 5spd 1JZ wit the auto diff so maybe that's y I got a better time...

Yeah the driver. But my 60 foot was faster. That's the hardest part of drag racing. Maybe mine being a FACTORY 5spd is the difference. IDK

 

i ran 13.94 wit a 2.2 60ft and trapped at 102 mph wit my stock atuo 1jz @ 12 psi and fmic

Strange. I usually run my 14.6's at around that speed...I'm at a mile altitude though. Similar mods too. In fact pretty much the same as 94Soarer, except I have the 5-speed (4.07?) diff.

 

Yea 4.07 is the correct Gear on a factory 5spd SC300..Bring that car to florida!!!

 

I would love to. I was actually thinking about taking a bit of a road trip down there next summer with a couple friends. I'll be sure to let all of Florida know if I do hahaha.
