Default Quarter Mile Times

searched but didnt find a thread, so heres a thread to post up your 1/4 mile times and speed. post your mods too!

so it was my first time at the track, ever, and i ran the ol' sc to get a benchmark before i do my other mods..ie: manual swap, built head, ems..etc

best i could do was:
r/t: .145
60: 2.035
330: 5.829
1/8: 8.968
mph: 80.10
1000: 11.678
1/4: 13.939
mph: 103.12

stock 1jzgte, auto with front mount and greddy type s blow off valve, 3 inch cat back.

im posting these as a running log to give others an idea on what they will run on a stock sc300 with a auto 1jzgte. if your not comfortable posting your REAL NUMBERS then dont post them AT ALL. DONT EDIT THEM EITHER. to many people these days lie about there numbers and it gets people confused on what classifies as a 13/14 second car because people with 16 second cars say they run in the 14s.

XS turbo kit, Dave H FFIM, RC 750's/Walbro, AEM v2, ACT 6-puck, LS1 coils.

This pass was on Sumitomo 275/40/18 street tires, wastegate pressure (12#), full weight, pump gas, W58 trans. The car was good for 360/303 like this. I haven't had it to the track since it's made more power.

14.6 @99.6
5800" elevation

1jz 5sp, 3"exhaust, intake, fmic

At sea level it would probably be high 13's.

ive never really been to the track but i usually beat my friend by a car length and he's got a 98' acura integra that runs at 14.58 in the 1/4 mile so i guess mines would be 14.5?

98 sc400 intake w/chip
~14.5 1/4 mile

Good numbers bryan767! That 60ft is not bad as well, especially for stock! How much boost were you running down the track with your mods?

I have the same mods as you for the most part and will be heading out to the strip soon to have a go. High 13s seem to be the area where bacis bolt-ons take these TT cars from what I read. (Manual AND Auto both...)

(Will edit this post in near future to display 1/4 mile results to keep the thread on topic!!!!)

Stock 10 psi of boost. Im hoping i can go into low 13s with my r154. I also have a walbro 255 btw, shooting for 11.99 with my fully built head, ems and trans. Might be out of reach but we will see, wouldn't help to get a 4.10 rear either.

Btw this was early morning, about 200ft elevation and ~70 degrees.

Bryan, and meangreen1, do you both have boost gauges equipped?

I'm surprised with the better breathing modifications you have, the boost hasn't increased over stock levels at all.

my wastegates keep sticking, so on occassion at WOT ill be at 14psi. i had to get a boost cut controller because of this issue. at the time i believe it was 10psi pretty much all day.

but i still have a cat, so its not to bad. i also made a DIY cold air intake. i ran aluminum duct work from the nose grille by the fog lights, right into my intake filter

THIS HELPS ALOT BTW
. think about it, at a stand still.. your heat soaking. with the duct work your getting cold air from infront of the car.
