For 95% of our purposes, blanks will be more than enough. If you're going for looks then the ones from R1 concepts should be just fine. Do they offer slotted only rotors?

Nice, I'm planning to do this upgrade as soon as I have a bigger set of rims.

Watch out for R1 though, I bought from them off fleabay and they charged me almost 3 times the stated postage to UK (This was explained to me by a Canadian man 3 weeks after buying)

Later a chinese man called me (I highly doubt they have any stock anywhere other than China) and couldnt speak much English but explained that they would soon here be.

2 Months and many, many emails later and just total ignorance, I claimed the cash back.

During this time my discs/pads were so bad I ended up having to buy OEM anyway.

Next time I'll go with Irotors.

Default LS400 BBK completed with pics..

I did my ls400 BBK upgrade yesterday and it went nice and smooth. I test fitted everything first for clearance and I did have to grind off a little corner on the back side of the calipers to get the bottom bolt hole to line up, no problem tho. I also just completly removed the dust sheilds because I had bent and trimmed them back at first, then I thought what if I caught a flat or something at night and forgot the dust sheilds were cut , don't wanna risk cutting myself in the future on the sharp edges. The system bled out nice and the pedal feels tight... but the best part is the car stops on the dime with much less effort. I put a new set of stock LS400 rotors on for now and i'm still waiting on my braided lines. They fit perfect with the moda r6 wheels also. Sorry about the car and the wheels being dirty will get it cleaned up today.. Special thanks to masagsxr
