Default New Suspension! Tein S-tech & KYB

So I finally decided to have my aging suspension replaced. The previous owner had also cut the springs, so needless to say the ride quality was sub par.

Here's a couple cellphone pics of the new stance. Obviously there's a huge difference in ride quality and handling. I used Supra Tein S-tech springs, and Kyb shocks. Also my mechanic told me whoever last worked on the suspension left the sway bar extremely loose!

Yeah it's a huge difference. I'm doing a BFI soon, a few little cosmetic things. Then hopefully down the road a w58 swap and more horsepower

it looks like a nice even drop. my biggest fear with spring drops are the rears lower than the fronts...but this looks good from what i can tell. Nice!

The wheels are 18x8 fronts 18x9 rears with 38mm offset. The s-tech springs lower the Supra 1.1" front 1" rear.. so it ends up being about 1.8" / 1.7" drop on the SC.

Looks awesome, how much did the springs cost, they say $360 on the tein website but usually stuff is cheaper than the msrp. I am going to replacing my stock bilsteins with some new KYBs and getting some lowering springs and these seem perfect, I was going to go for eibach but they are only like 1.1" and I wanted something lower but not incredibly low like the 2" or whatever they also have.

I got the springs around 170 shipped on ebay. The shocks I totally ripped off ebay at $100 shipped for the set. They were new, but had damaged boxes. I got those from the Discount Tire ebay store.

Interesting... I've been contemplating coilovers, but the more SC's I see on Supra springs makes me wanna change my mind

Funny what you say about your sway bar. Who ever worked on my SC before I bought it totally left the passenger side endlink disconnected from the LCA.
