Gratitude, experience, and concept
Hello fellow Club Lexus members,
I would like to say thanks to everyone for making this SC section of the forum that much more of a BETTER experience for me. I've learned a bit from you all and most of all how to SEARCH (lol).
O.L.T. thank you for your awesome write ups! And there is another member I forgot your name and I apologize. He has an Asian girl as his avatar and a black 94 Sc I believe and is as adamant with staying with the front end as I am.
EXPERiENCE:
The SC is a GREAT car to drive. I have enjoyed it a lot so far! I'm sure glad the ugly outer appearance I first thought of it didn't shy me away from getting one. though this car is automatic I enjoy it a ton (1992 SC300)!
True Story #1: I offered my sister to use my car to go home from work in exchange for her 2001 Honda Accord EX, so I could wash it for her. The Accord's front wheel felt so blah and the seats felt like van seats :|. Anyhow, once my sister got home. I asked her how she liked it and she said "I didn't like it. there is too much space." I hope that made you guys laugh as much as I did lol...
True Story #2: I was cleaning the interior of my SC in the drive way when my neighbor made her way over to my driveway. I thought to myself, "Ah **** she's going to tell me to turn my music down." But instead she introduced herself and asked me what kind of car I had, what year it was, and what engine it had in it. That brought a smile to my face.
Concept/future plans:
Ultimately I would love to go with the '(air) Runner' kit since it still possesses the sleekness of a 92-94 front end (If I can get my hands on one). A manual Transmission swap will be a must as well. HiDs Crystal white. And then the SC430 eternal Jewel black with tan accents for interior. Work SC2 wheels on the SC 3
.

Current mods:
So far I've installed some new front speakrs. and did a "mouth" spice up. C&C of this cheap D.i.Y is highly encouraged.

Thank you again everyone for your time, and patience in reading this to get to know me a bit more. Hope to meet some people at meets soon!
Peace-out(side)

Heh thanks! But that is a .psd I did with tint + a drop. I've read megan racing or tien basics are the way to go.
As for ehadlights (as you can see I need new ones. I've found alot of eBay ones. Any other reccomendations other than clearCorners, or oem?

psd? meaning photoshop?
and yes the megans are what you want if you looking for a slam on a budget!
and as for the head lights you could do a clear lens mod... which is using the eBay lens and the oem headlight it gives a cleaner look.
search it.. for pictures

PS: I thought the title of this thread were words taken straight from a professor's mouth before class.

I thought that drop was a little low with how correct the camber still was :P Welcome to the forums man. As for coils I would recommend Parts by Max / Parts Shop Max if you want some great, low coils at a decent price compared to the megans
welcome and u will find that the SC community is one of the best, if not the best, in this forum!....... i just got some free used mounts from a member here, sure they were a lil worn out, but they were free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Welcome, and you're welcome.
Hope you enjoy your SC. Mine has given me almost 8 years of fun.
I can say after working on it all these years that it is one of the most well thought out designs I've seen. It can be a real pain in the *** to work on for some things *cough starter cough*...... *cough control arm bushings cough*, but the design is really intelligent and most of the parts usually do last 15+ years so..... Gotta be doing something right. I think if Nippendenso would have not been contracted to do the electronics this car would be bulletproof.
Have fun with it!
