i was cleaning my headlight housing and i spilt this goo off crap (used to remove the bondo) onto the lens. I think it ate through the plastic and its all smeared now. Is it recoverable? if not, how much is a replacement lens?
or do i have to do buy the whole headlight housing?

chances are, that goo off stuff ate the lens beyond repair. You can try plastic polish to grind off the bad area. If you get to thin on the lens thou you will have a hole.

Best advice is to stay away from chemicals at all cost.
